i don't know why should be a problem. Just use different dates for the

es que surgio una propuesta firme en que Organice un Pgday en Venezuela en
el Primer Trimestre del 2010 elevado a mi Comunidad en Venezuela
www.Grupove.org.ve <http://www.grupove.org.ve/> la propuesta de que mi
Empresa esta dispuesta a patrocinar el Evento en la Ciudad de Valencia en un
Auditorium que mi Empresa rentara para el Evento por Dos Dias con capacidad
para 280 personas Sentadas con Audio Video y todo lo que se requiere
adicionalmente los refrigerios para los asistente tambien estamos dispuesto
a colocarlo y la Entrada seria totalmente sin costo para los participante
esta propuesta en es firme nuestro Compañeros de la Universidad de la
Ciencias Informatica de Cuba estan dispuesto a Colaborar y participar sin
concretamos este evento por consiguiente esta propuesta es en firme y
pudiera ser para el Mes de Marzo seria de Dos Dias Viernes y Sabado para que
el Domingo sea de Shopping yTurismo

Espero su opiniones Internacional ya que estoy a tiempo pero tambien estoy a
la espera de la Comunidad Local su opinion

Latina, con lo cual estamos todo de acuerdo en su organización.

Como parte de mis responsabilidades de RC para Republiica Dominicana estoy en camino de prepaarr un . PgDay 2010 aqui en mi pais. Esto sera totalmente local y talvez pueda traer algun invitado internacional, Alvaro o Jaime, ya que son los mas viejos de la lista y con los que siempre hemos contado, incluyendome. Al parecer , hay muchos eventos planeados para este 2010 y eso es una buiena noticia. A los amigos cubanos, me gustaria reunirme con ellos, ya que este mes tengo planeado otro viaje a Cuba y en el anterior no pude conocer a ninguno

I wouldn't call it _Latin American_ unless we (Brazil) could be included in
the plans too. If not, just call it _PGDay Hispano_ or _PGDay Hispano Americano_.

Our event 2010 is from Cuban Community.
The event 2011 is all Latina Community.

However,the topic is continue the before year event.

Can we also clarify, the content of this email "PGDay Latinoamericano 2011" is
actually meant to be an international/regional conference for the latin
american community, not a conference for the Cuban community, which the
subject of this email indicates. Are there still plans for a separate PGDay
Cuba? Not that I will likely take part in either at this point*, but I was
wondering. Maybe we could get the conf organizers to update

* I had thought about going to the Latin American conf when the idea came up,
but traveling to Cuba is likely more hassle than I'll want to go through.

Can I suggest removing the Latinamerican meaning at all?
It also caused confusion this year for the event planned here in
Argentina ("PgDay 2009 Latinamerica"), that couldn't get realized by
lack of speakers and attendees.
I hope we (the involved in that pgday) had learned something...

So, I don't think inviting speakers of latin american countries is
enought to call it "Latinoamericano". If so, getting international
speakers convert it in a "PgDay Worldwide"?

I think it is an event organized by the cuban community, for the cuban
community.
Latinamerica is a big region, with so many interest and particular
needs that, in my opinion, an event of this type should organized by
all the communities, for all the communities (around 20 countries).

Yes, even for us, reaching Cuba from Argentina is expensive and a bit
more complex.

With the brazilean community we are planning to start to organize
talks (involving both countries) in more accessible places, like Porto
Alegre (br), Foz do Iguazu (br) or San Luis (ar), hosted in larger and
more established events like FISL, JRSL and Latinoware.
