Roll back port to 2010.12.12 because there's a reported functional issue with the UUID code (minidlna under some scenarios crashes with SIGBUS), according to joeschmuck on the forums: http://forums.freenas.org/showthread.php?2615-Setting-up-uPnP-with-minidlna-on-the-freenas-nightlies-post-09-25-2011 (see post # 63).

Mute avahi-daemon "consider installing nss-mdns" noise that gets emitted via /var/log/messages whenever avahi is [re]started.

Add enhancement to avahi-app initscripts to quiet down avahi-daemon [force]stop; enhancement filed upstream as: http://avahi.org/attachment/ticket/358/ .

Add a patch from scottl@ to solve mfi(4) lost interrupt issue.

Upgrade from net/samba35-3.5.11 to net/samba36-3.6.1.

This requires bumping databases/tdb from 1.2.1 to 1.2.9.
