Set recursive option to ACL_Hierarchy so that it actually works
recursively.

The function nolog implies no logging should take place. Thus, we should redirect stdout to /dev/null first, then stderr. The previous incantation redirected stderr to stdout, which in turn would be logged.

Use the symbolic name for SIGQUIT instead of the magic number.
Make an honest effort at restoring the previous sigprocmask.
