• 637 licensed beds
• Level 1 Trauma Designation
• Teaching Hospital
• Chest Pain Center
• Stroke Center

Unit Information

• Beds: 20 OR rooms; 2 Cysto
• Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 yrs for General OR and 5 Years for CVOR
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Will consider, based on experience

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses

• General surgery (GYN, General, Plastics, ENT, Robotics, Colorectal)
• Ortho (Hip, knee, shoulder replacement, Sports med repair, orthopedic trauma)
• Ortho spine surgery
• Neurosurgery (neuro spine and brain tumor removal)
• Cardiovascular (Open heart surgery, valve replacement, and vascular surgery)

Required License

• CST: BLS; graduation from an accredited program; CST (preferred)

National Certification, Certs

• RN: BLS

1 week orientation to the hospital.

Scheduling

• Weekend rotation: Call rotation - Discussed during interview with Manager
• Call required: 6-8 calls per month - Discussed during interview with Manager
• Holiday Expectations: Holiday call required
• RTO Requests: must be approved by leader
• Shift times: 7A-7P or 7P-7A
• Schedule cycle: 6-week schedule

• Scrub Color: surgical green- scrub exchange system
• Parking: Free? There is free parking but it's across from the hospital in walking distance. Recommend paying *** per pay period to park in the parking deck
