I create an .htaccess file and uploaded it with just this: LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so and I get a 500 internal server error. whats up with that? wildteen88 Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 You cannot use LoadModule directive within an .htaccess file. You should add that line to Apaches configuration file if you have access to it. If you dont you should contact your host and see if they'll enable mod_rewrite for you.
