MySQL Enterprise Backup 8.0 User's Guide
MySQL Enterprise Backup 8.0.42 is the latest bugfix release for MySQL Enterprise Backup 8.0, and supports MySQL Server 8.0.42 only. For earlier versions of MySQL 8.0, use the MySQL Enterprise Backup version with the same version number as the server. For later versions of MySQL, use the supported versions of MySQL Enterprise Backup as specified in the MySQL Enterprise Backup User's Guide having the corresponding version number.
Important Change: For platforms on which OpenSSL libraries are bundled, the linked OpenSSL library for MySQL Enterprise Backup has been updated to version 3.0.16. Issues fixed in OpenSSL version 3.0.16 are described at https://openssl-library.org/news/openssl-3.0-notes/. (Bug #37618845)
MySQL Enterprise Backup now uses the HTTPS protocol for REST API calls to the Amazon S3 service for data backup and restoration. (Bug #37272192)
