Compact composer grows until the agent timeline is unreadable

On iPhone TestFlight 0.9.0, pasting a long prompt into the agent composer grows the input until it fills the entire space between the workspace header and the keyboard. The timeline is squeezed to nothing, so you cannot read the agent reply while editing.

Repro

1. Open an agent chat on iPhone.
2. Focus the composer so the keyboard is up.
3. Paste a long multi-line prompt (10+ wrapped lines).
4. Watch the composer expand.

Expected

The composer should stop around 10 lines of text (about 30% of the space between the keyboard and the chrome above) and scroll the rest. The latest agent reply should stay on screen.

Actual

The field grows with the draft. On a phone with the keyboard open, 50% of the full window height is basically 100% of the remaining chat area.

Notes

This is the compact composer on native iOS. Desktop can keep the larger half-window cap.

Thanks for the clear repro and for naming the platform and version.

Confirmed from the source, though I have not run it on a device: the composer's maximum height is 50% of the full window height, and the keyboard is not subtracted from it. On an iPhone with the keyboard up, that cap lands at roughly the entire remaining chat area, which matches what you saw.

Keeping this open as a bug and labelling it for iOS.

Two things I want to be accurate about:

• The same cap is shared by the Android compact composer, so it likely behaves the same way there. I have not checked Android.
• Where the compact cap should sit (your 10 lines / ~30% suggestion) is a design decision for @boudra, so the fix may not land at exactly that number.
