[1.12.2] End Metals' crashing after Base Metals updated #21
EndMetals and NetherMetals both are lagging a bit behind - there was a large API change in BaseMetals around the code for managing the creative tabs, making them a lot better and better managed than they have been in previous versions, that has impacted all the rest of the mods in the family.
Thanks for the report and we're working on this issue, its just taking a bit as we've found that our testing prior to release has missed some major bugs.
I've been having the same issue with that, but for me, ModernMetals doesn't work as well, though I managed to fix it by updating the entire mod system involving ModernMetals etc. It has to be ALL updated to work.
there should be new versions of them all hitting Curse in the next week or so that address a lot of the bugs people have been finding - right now, on our Maven you can find versions of all of the mods that should be functional, if you look in "com.mcmoddev"
BaseMetals, ModernMetals, NetherMetals, EndMetals and BaseMinerals have all seen some work over the past week to get them functional and add what is needed. BaseMetals and ModernMetals have, additionally, seen the Tinkers' Construct, Mek and IC2 integrations reviewed and fixed - with the IC2 integrations actually reaching the "complete" stage that had been planned a year ago.
Just sent @jriwanek a swathe of PR's that fix some outstanding bugs in EndMetals and NetherMetals - this is a step closer to having a fresh release of the mods onto CurseForge that should resolve this error.
