On Mac, text selection keyboard shortcuts aren't all working (like Cmd+A)

In text fields, Cmd+A doesn’t work to select all text and Shift+Option+Up/Down arrow key doesn’t select from the text cursor’s position to the start/end of the line (however these do work: Shift+Option+Left/Right does select word-by-word, and Option+Up/Down does jump the text cursor to the start/end of the line without selecting); this works on web

@Mayank7Bisnewar Sure, just be aware that this is not a all beginner friendly.
The main thing that is holding this back is that all obvious fixes break workarounds we have to do for the Menu to not cause duplicate Keyboard events.
Will likely involve diving deep into mac APIs and winit.
