If you need to change or update your Apple Account payment method

Payment information that you use for Apple media purchases and subscriptions might be automatically updated by your financial institution. Learn how to edit your payment method manually.

Update your payment method on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro

1. In Settings, tap your name.

2. Tap Payment & Shipping. You might be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.

3. If you need to update the billing information of an existing card, tap the payment method, then tap Edit.

4. Enter your new billing information, then tap Done.

If there's an issue, change your payment method

If there's an issue updating an existing payment method, add a new payment method and then remove the old payment method:

1. In Settings, tap your name.

2. Tap Payment & Shipping. You might be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.

3. Tap Add Payment Method.

   

4. Enter the new payment method, then tap Done.

5. Tap Edit.

6. Tap the red delete button next to the old payment method, then tap Remove.

7. If you want, you can then re-add the old payment method with updated billing information.

Update your payment method on your Mac

1. In the App Store, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar. Or, click the Sign In button and sign in to your Apple Account.

2. On the page that appears, click your name. You might be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.

3. Click Payment Methods.

4. If you need to update the billing information of an existing card, click the payment method you would like to update and then click Edit.

5. Enter your new billing information, then click Done.

4. Click Add Payment Method, then enter the new payment method. Click Done.

5. Click Edit, then click Remove Payment Method to remove the old payment method.

6. If you want, you can then re-add the old payment method with updated billing information.

1. Open the Apple Music app or Apple TV app. Learn how to get Apple's apps for Windows.

2. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then click View My Account. You might need to sign in to your Apple Account first. If you have iTunes for Windows, use the menu bar to choose Account, then select View My Account.

   

3. Next to Payment Information, click Manage Payments.

4. If you need to update the billing information of an existing card, click Edit next to the payment method.

5. Enter your new billing information, then click Done.
