High-resolution 3D sculpting on iPad.
Sculptura 2 turns your iPad and Apple Pencil into a powerful voxel sculpting studio. Shape creatures, characters, miniatures, organic forms, and abstract art without managing mesh topology. Sculpt, paint, render, and export your models for 3D printing, animation, or further work in other 3D apps.
One-time purchase. No subscription.

Light under the skin. Materials can now scatter light beneath the surface, so skin, wax, jade, and marble glow the way they do in life instead of reading as flat paint. Thin parts like ears and fingertips let light through while thick parts stay solid, and a painted model scatters the colors you painted. Set the amount, radius, radius tint, and anisotropy in the new Subsurface section of the material editor, which is now grouped into sections.
Cleaner renders, sooner. Path tracing now sends its rays toward the bright parts of the environment, so a render under a sunny sky shows far fewer speckles and much less grain at the same number of samples.
No more meshing freeze. Switching a large sculpt to mesh mode used to lock the whole app for seconds behind a "Meshing..." message that couldn't even animate. Meshing now runs in the background and the app stays responsive.
Autosave stays out of your way. Autosave used to fire in the middle of a stroke or a camera drag, competing with you for the GPU and stuttering the gesture. It now waits until you've lifted your finger, and a save already under way pauses until you have.
Open from anywhere. A sculpt opened from Files or iCloud Drive is imported into your gallery and opened from there, so it saves properly and shows up alongside your other work. OBJ, STL, and USD models shared from other apps now open too, as new sculpts in your gallery.
