Set a date for several tasks at once: select them and pick a date in the batch bar, with or without a time. Reminders keep the language you chose and name the day they are for, instead of saying "tomorrow" long after the day has turned over. The Today widget in Notification Centre stays right through midnight, even while Galka is closed. Changes arriving from sync update the widget and the Dock badge as they land. The weekend options are properly translated in Russian.

Dock icon badge The Dock icon can now show how many tasks are open today, overdue included. On by default in Settings ▸ Notifications ▸ App icon badge. Haptics when you tick something off On a Force Touch trackpad, completing a task gives a firm tap and un-completing a softer one — so undoing feels different from doing. Background sync Galka now syncs as soon as the network comes back and after the Mac wakes from sleep, and checks in on its own if it has been out of touch for a while — without any extra traffic when the live connection is healthy.

Dictation • Tap the microphone in the compose card and speak a task — the words go into the title field, where dates, @projects and !priorities are parsed the same way as typed text. Nothing is filed until you tap +, so you can check what was heard first. • Pick a dictation language in Settings › Tasks, independently of the interface language. • The widget has its own microphone: tap it and the card opens already listening. Faster capture • Type @, # or ! and choose a project, tag or priority from the suggestions that appear. • Notes now hold several lines. • Return at the end of a checklist item starts the next one. • Duplicate a task (⌘D), or copy it as plain text (⇧⌘C). • Switch a project between List and Board straight from the toolbar (⌘1 / ⌘2). • On Mac, the quick add panel can be dragged wherever you want it. Small things • A new task slides into the list with a soft glow, and the list scrolls to meet it. • A task you have just ticked holds its place for a moment before it leaves, so an accidental tap is easy to take back. • Larger, clearer text in the widgets.
